The International HX520 Day Cab is a rugged severe-duty truck built for heavy haul, construction, and vocational applications across NZ. Designed for operators who demand strength and reliability, it’s perfect for long hours, heavy loads, and challenging conditions.
Powered by a Cummins X15 e5 SCR engine with ratings from 485–578hp up to 615hp and torque up to 2,050 lb‑ft, it delivers high performance with confidence. Eaton transmissions, Meritor axles and International Ride Optimised Suspension systems combine to give smooth handling and excellent payload capability.
The HX520 offers NZ’s lowest tare cab and chassis for its class, paired with a driver-focused interior that balances comfort with control. It’s available in tipper or tractor specification, manual shift, with 90t GCM capability, making it versatile for local operators.
